Task Rating System
This rating system is designed to assist you with choosing a game or toy that is a good fit for your child. Your child may find a particular game or toy fun and another child may find it to be very difficult or laborious. There are 3 basic factors that may contribute to the overall fun factor of a game or toy. These factors are reading, math, and time that the game or toy requires.

A child with attention deficit disorder may not necessarily find a long game enjoyable even if it does include the skill areas that are his strengths. A child who has difficulty reading will be intimidated by a game that has too many words. Similarly, a child who struggles with math will be quickly bored by a game that is math intensive. Therefore, we have rated the toys according to these factors: math, reading and time. Each factor has an icon and rating number next to it which represents the level of difficulty or complexity within each of these three categories.
